I think that a person should treat pregnancy seriously and be aware of many potential birth defects like, for example, celexa birth defects which is one of many defects to know about. It is sad to hear that more and more children are born with birth defects. I imagine that it might not be that easy for a mother to accept that her child was born with birth defects if it already happened. One, probably the most obvious way for a woman to avoid giving birth to a child with birth defects is to avoid taking any medications during pregnancy. This must be easy to say for people like me who rarely take any medications, but most women might not have a choice and might need to take various medications even while they are pregnant. I guess it is up to them to make the best choice and decide what is best in their case.
